The Collectible Store is proud to present Zach Britton, Britton, the youngest of three brothers, was raised in Santa Clarita, California. During his only year at Canyon High School, he spent two days in intensive care when he sustained fractures of the skull and clavicle and bleeding in the brain as a result of diving headfirst into concrete while attempting to catch a foul popup during baseball practice with the freshman squad. When he moved with his family to Texas, he transferred to Weatherford High School, where he was an all-state outfielder who also pitched Britton was offered an athletic scholarship to attend Texas A&M University. After he was selected by the Baltimore Orioles in the third round (85th overall) of the 2006 Major League Baseball Draft, he accepted a signing bonus to join the ball club. The piece is a 9 x 12 vertical cherry wooden frame one inch in depth with glass. Clear glass was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph. A 2½ x 3½ trading card of signed in blue ink by Zach Britton, placed on a white mat with golden borders on the frame. Below the signed card with the inscription in golden ink “Zach" - "Britton". The certificate of Authenticity (COA) from Tri-Star Obak is enclosed in an envelope and attached on the back of the frame. It includes a vertical frame holder attached to the back. The frame weighs 2 pounds.
