The Collectible Store is proud to present, WILSON BETEMIT - is a Dominican professional baseball infielder in the Tampa Bay Rays organization. He is 6'2" and weighs 220 pounds. He has previously played for the Atlanta Braves, Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Yankees, Chicago White Sox, Kansas City Royals, Detroit Tigers and Baltimore Orioles. He began his professional career in 1997 with the Gulf Coast Braves. He spent most of 2003 and 2004 with Richmond, but appeared in 22 games with the Braves in 2004, recording his first Major League hit on May 8 against the Houston Astros. The piece is a 9x12 cherry finish wooden plaque with 1 inch in depth with acrylic. Clear acrylic was used on this fine piece to protect the signed sports card. The sports card is in color signed in black ink by Wilson Betemit in black ink on a red mat. A gold name plate is on the bottom with the engraving in black letters "Wilson Betemit - Braves - Authentic Signature. The plaque includes a horizontal plaque holder. A copy of the back of the sports card is enclosed in an envelope attached to the back of the plaque. The piece weighs 2 1/2 pounds.
