The Collectible Store is proud to present, Willie Howard Mays, Jr., nicknamed "The Say Hey Kid" is a retired American professional baseball player who spent the majority of his Major League Baseball (MLB) career as a center fielder with the New York and San Francisco Giants before finishing with the New York Mets. He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1979, his first year of eligibility. Mays won two MVP awards and shares the All-Star record of most All-Star Games played (24) with Hank Aaron & Stan Musial. The piece is a matted 8 x 10 , placed on a 10½ x 12½ vertical cherry wooden frame with a decorative border and 1 inch in depth with glass. Clear glass was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and photo. A 3½ x 6 vertical color photo of Willie Mays holding his bat, hand signed in black ink is centered with black mat and orange borders around the photo. A name card is positioned below the picture with the inscription in black ink “Willie Mays Hall Of Fame-1979”.The Certificate of Authentication (COA) from Professional Forensics Examiner Christopher L. Morales Certificate #CM 04381 and hologram, are enclosed in an envelope and attached to a black mat on the back of the frame. The frame includes a vertical frame holder attached to the back.
