The Collectible Store is proud to present, Willie Howard Mays, Jr., nicknamed "The Say Hey Kid" is a retired American professional baseball player who spent the majority of his Major League Baseball (MLB) career as a center fielder with the New York and San Francisco Giants before finishing with the New York Mets. He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1979, his first year of eligibility. Mays won two MVP awards and shares the All-Star record of most All-Star Games played (24) with Hank Aaron & Stan Musial. The piece is a matted 8 x 10, placed on a 10 x 12 vertical black styrene frame with 1 inch in depth. Clear glass was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and photo. A 4 x 6 vertical color photo of Willie Mays, hand signed in black ink is centered on a black mat with white border around the picture. A name card is positioned below the signed picture with the inscription in black ink “Willie Mays Hall Of Fame 1979”. It also contains a Major League Baseball sticker below the picture. The Certificate of Authentication (COA) from Professional Forensics Examiner Christopher L. Morales and hologram are enclosed in an envelope and attached to the back of the frame.
