The Collectible Store is proud to present, Willie Howard Mays, Jr., nicknamed "The Say Hey Kid" is a retired American professional baseball player who spent the majority of his Major League Baseball (MLB) career as a center fielder with the New York and San Francisco Giants before finishing with the New York Mets. He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1979, his first year of eligibility. Mays won two MVP awards and shares the All-Star record of most All-Star Games played (24) with Hank Aaron & Stan Musial. The piece is a 7 x 9 vertical black marble finish wooden plaque. Clear acrylic was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and lithograph. A 3½ x 5 vertical color lithograph of Willie Mays hand signed in black ink, is placed on a black mat on the plaque. A name card is positioned below the picture with the inscription in black ink “Willie Mays Hall of Fame - 1979”. The certificate of Authenticity (COA) from Professional Forensics Examiner Christopher L. Morales hologram # CM 06016 is enclosed in an envelope and attached on the back of the plaque . It includes a vertical plaque holder attached to the back. The plaque weighs 1½ pound.
