The Collectible Store is proud to present Willie Howard Mays, Jr., nicknamed "The Say Hey Kid" is a retired American professional baseball player who spent the majority of his Major League Baseball (MLB) career as a center fielder with the New York and San Francisco Giants before finishing with the New York Mets. He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1979, his first year of eligibility. Mays won two MVP awards and shares the All-Star record of most All-Star Games played (24) with Hank Aaron & Stan Musial. The piece is a 7x9 vertical cherry wooden plaque. Clear acrylic glass was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and photo. A 3½x5 black and white photo of Willie Mays smiling, hand signed in blue ink is centered on a  black mat. A name card is positioned below the signed photo with the inscription in black ink “Willie Mays  Hall of Fame - 1979”. The Certificate of Authentication (COA) from Professional Forensics Examiner Christopher L. Morales and hologram # CM 06097 are enclosed in an envelope and attached on the back of the plaque.  The plaque includes a vertical holder on the back and weighs 1 pound.
