Collectible Store is proud to present Tony Sanchez. Jorge Anthony Sanchez, is an American professional baseball catcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates of Major League Baseball. Sanchez was the fourth overall pick in the 2009 Major League Baseball Draft. On June 21, 2013, Sanchez was officially recalled to the Pittsburgh Pirates. Tony Sanchez had his first major league hit on June 23, 2013, a double off of the Angels right hander Joe Blanton. However the ball that Tony hit for his first MLB hit got stuck in the score board. After the Pirates finished batting officials went out and retrieved the ball and gave it to Sanchez. The piece is a 7x9 vertical black cherry finish wooden plaque with 1 inch in depth with acrylic. Clear acrylic was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and sports card. A 2.5x3.5 color sports card is hand signed in blue ink by Tony Sanchez and is centered in a black mat. A golden name plate is centered on the bottom part of the mat with the engraving in black letters “Tony Sanchez Pirates Authentic Signature”. Certified by Topps and copy of the back of card is enclosed in an envelope and attached to the back of the plaque. The plaque includes a plaque holder. The piece weighs 1 pounds.
