Collectible Store is proud to present, Thomas Stanley Bocock (May 18, 1815 – August 5, 1891) was a nineteenth-century politician and lawyer from Virginia. After serving as an antebellum United States Congressman, he was the Speaker of the Confederate States House of Representatives during most of the American Civil War. The piece is a 11x14 placed in a 13x16 vertical black wooden frame with 1 inch in depth with Tru Vue Conservation Grade 99% UV Protection. Clear glasss was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and photo. A 5x7 black and white photo, and 1 1/2x4 cut card signature in black ink by Thomas Bocock , is centered in a black mat with white borders on the frame. A golden name plate is centered on the bottom part of the mat with the engraving in black letters “Tomas Bocock 19th Century Politician & Lawyer From Virginia During Most of The Civil War he Was a Speacker of the Confederate States of Representatives” The Certificate of Authentication (COA) is from JG Autographs is enclosed in an envelope and attached to a white mat on the back of the frame. The frame includes a vertical frame holder attached to the back. The piece weighs 3 pounds.
