Collectible Store is proud to present, The Chimes (later Lenny & the Chimes) were an American doo wop group from Brooklyn.The group came together under the direction of lead singer Lenny Cocco in the mid-1950s. Their first single was a version of Tommy Dorsey's "Once in a While", released on Tag Records. The song became a hit in the U.S., peaking at #11 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1961. In subsequent decades they have re-formed for the doo-wop revival circuit, usually under the name Lenny Cocco and the Chimes. The piece is 14x14 placed in a 16x16 vertical black wooden frame with 1 inch in depth with glass. Tru Vue Conservation Grade 99% UV protection glass was used on this piece to protect the autograph. A "Sock Hop Rarities TWO" DVD hand signed in black ink by Lenny Coco is placed on the right side of the frame in a black mat with yellow borders. A 5½ x 8 color DVD cover is placed on the left side of the mat. The piece also includes an original ticketmaster ticket to the Lenny Coco & Doo Wop Mob concert, placed on the bottom right of the frame. A gold colored name plate is placed below the DVD with the engraving in black letters "The Chimes - Lenny Coco The Group Came Together Under the Direction of Lenny Coco in the mid 1950's" . The Certificate of Authentication from PAAS hologram # PAAS 12977 is enclosed in an envelope and attached to the back of the frame.
