The Collectible Store is proud to present, Ted Williams known as “Teddy Ballgame”, “The Thumper” and “The Greatest Hitter Who Ever Lived”, is regarded as one of the greatest hitters in baseball history. He was a two-time American League (AL) Most Valuable Player (MVP), six-time batting champion, 17-time All-Star, and a two-time Triple Crown winner. He finished his career with a .344 batting average, 521 home runs, and a .482 on base percentage, the highest of all time. His batting average is the highest of any MLB player with 500 or more home runs. Williams was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1966 in his first year of eligibility. The piece is a 7x9 vertical black marble wooden plaque. Clear acrylic glass was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and photo. A 3½ x 5 color lithograph of Ted Williams holding his bat, hand signed in blue ink, is centered on a black mat and white borders around it. A name card is positioned below the autographed photo with the inscription in black ink “Ted Williams  Hall of Fame - 1966”. The Certificate of Authentication (COA) from Professional Forensics Examiner Christopher L. Morales and hologram are enclosed in an envelope and attached on the back of the plaque # CM 05187. The plaque includes a vertical holder on the back and weighs 1 pound.
