He was a two-time American League (AL) Most Valuable Player (MVP), six-time batting champion, 17-time All-Star, and a two-time Triple Crown winner. He finished his career with a .344 batting average, 521 home runs, and a .482 on base percentage, the highest of all time. His batting average is the highest of any MLB player with 500 or more home runs. Williams was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1966 in his first year of eligibility. The piece is a 7x9 vertical black marble finish wooden plaque. Clear acrylic glass was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and photo. A 3x5 color photo of Ted Williams holding his bat, hand signed in blue ink is centered on a black mat with white borders around the photo. A name card is positioned below the signed photo with the inscription in black ink Ted Williams Hall of Fame - 1966. The Certificate of Authentication (COA) from Professional Forensics Examiner Christopher L. Morales and hologram # CM 05143 are enclosed in an envelope and attached to the back of the plaque .
