Collectible Store is proud to present, Ted Williams known as “Teddy Ballgame”, “The Thumper” and “The Greatest Hitter Who Ever Lived”, is regarded as one of the greatest hitters in baseball history. He was a two-time American League (AL) Most Valuable Player (MVP), six-time batting champion, 17-time All-Star, and a two-time Triple Crown winner. He finished his career with a .344 batting average, 521 home runs, and a .482 on base percentage, the highest of all time. His batting average is the highest of any MLB player with 500 or more home runs. Williams was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1966 in his first year of eligibility. The piece is a 7x9 horizontal black marble finish wooden plaque with 1 inch in depth with acrylic. Clear acrylic was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and photo. A 4x6 color photo is hand signed in blue ink by Ted Williams and is centered in a black marble plaque with a team logo. A black name plate is centered on the bottom part of the mat with the engraving in gold letters “Ted Williams Hall of Fame-1966”. The Certificate of Authentication (COA) from Professional Forensics Examiner Christopher L. Morales and hologram i1 enclosed in an envelope and attached to the back of the plaque.
