Ted Williams known as “Teddy Ballgame”, “The Thumper” and “The Greatest Hitter Who Ever Lived”, is regarded as one of the greatest hitters in baseball history. He was a two-time American League (AL) Most Valuable Player (MVP), six-time batting champion, 17-time All-Star, and a two-time Triple Crown winner. He finished his career with a .344 batting average, 521 home runs, and a .482 on base percentage, the highest of all time. His batting average is the highest of any MLB player with 500 or more home runs. Williams was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1966 in his first year of eligibility. The piece is a matted 8 x 10 , placed on a 9x11 vertical solid black wooden frame with 1 inch in depth with glass. Clear glass was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and photo. A 4x6 color action photo of Ted Williams hand signed in blue ink is centered with black mat on the frame and a white border around the photo. A name card is positioned below the picture with the inscription in black ink “Ted Williams Hall Of Fame-1966”. The Certificate of Authentication (COA) from Professional Forensics Examiner Christopher L. Morales and hologram are enclosed in an envelope and attached to a black mat on the back of the frame.
