He was a two-time American League (AL) Most Valuable Player (MVP), six-time batting champion, 17-time All-Star, and a two-time Triple Crown winner. He finished his career with a .344 batting average, 521 home runs, and a .482 on base percentage, the highest of all time. His batting average is the highest of any MLB player with 500 or more home runs. Williams was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1966 in his first year of eligibility. The piece is a matted 11 x 14 , placed on a 13x16 vertical brown wooden frame with 1 inch in depth with glass. Clear glass was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and photo. A 5x7 color photo of Ted Williams holding his bat, hand signed in blue ink is positioned on the upper part of a black mat with white borders around the photo. A name card is positioned below the picture with the inscription in black ink "Ted Williams Hall of Fame-1966". On the bottom of the mat there are 3 (2½x3½) color photos consecutively aligned of Ted Williams. The Certificate of Authentication (COA) from Professional Forensics Examiner Christopher L.
