The Collectible Store is proud to present  Ted Williams known as “Teddy Ballgame”, “The Thumper” and “The Greatest Hitter Who Ever Lived”, is regarded as one of the greatest hitters in baseball history. He was a two-time American League (AL) Most Valuable Player (MVP), six-time batting champion, 17-time All-Star, and a two-time Triple Crown winner. He finished his career with a .344 batting average, 521 home runs, and a .482 on base percentage, the highest of all time. His batting average is the highest of any MLB player with 500 or more home runs. Williams was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1966 in his first year of eligibility. The piece is a matted 11 x 14, placed on a 15 x 18 vertical black styrene frame with 1 inch in depth. Clear glass was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and photo. A 8 x 10 vertical color lithograph of Ted Williams, hand signed in blue ink, is centered on a black mat with white borders around the picture. A name card is positioned below the signed picture with the inscription in black ink “Ted Williams Hall Of Fame 1966”.The Certificate of Authentication (COA) from Professional Forensics Examiner Christopher L. Morales and hologram #CM 04972 are enclosed in an envelope and attached to the back of the frame. It includes a vertical frame holder on the back. The piece weighs 2½ pounds.
