The Collectible Store is proud to present, , Ted Williams.  Ted Williams known as “Teddy Ballgame”, “The Thumper” and “The Greatest Hitter Who Ever Lived”, is regarded as one of the greatest hitters in baseball history. He was a two-time American League (AL) Most Valuable Player (MVP), six-time batting champion, 17-time All-Star, and a two-time Triple Crown winner. He finished his career with a .344 batting average, 521 home runs, and a .482 on base percentage, the highest of all time. His batting average is the highest of any MLB player with 500 or more home runs. Williams was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1966 in his first year of eligibility. The piece is a 9x12 horizontal black marble finish wooden plaque with 1 inch in depth with acrylic. Clear acrylic was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and photo. A 4 x 6  black and white  photo of Ted Williams, hand signed in blue ink is positioned on the right side of the plaque in a black mat . A name card is positioned to the left of the picture with the inscription in black ink “Ted Williams "The Splendid Splinter” followed by a brief description of his triumphs. The Certificate of Authentication (COA) from Professional Forensics Examiner Christopher L. Morales and hologram  Certificate # CM 12214 are enclosed in an envelope and attached to the back of the plaque. The plaque includes a horizontal plaque holder. The piece weighs 2 pounds.
