The Collectible Store is proud to present, Stephen Robert Holm is a former American professional baseball catcher.Holm was drafted by the Giants in the 17th round in 2001. He beat Eliezer Alfonzo and Guillermo Rodríguez to earn a position on the major-league roster in 2008 spring training, but got sent down for Eliezer Alfonzo on July 1, 2008. He got re-called on July 23, 2008.After playing for a short period of time on the Giants in 2009, he was sent back to Triple-A Fresno. Eli Whiteside then became the back-up catcher when Holm was unable to be re-called. Holm was designated for assignment to clear room for Matt Downs on June 16. The piece is a 9x12 horizontal cherry finish wooden plaque with 1 inch in depth with acrylic. Clear Acrylic was used on this piece to protect the autograph and baseball card. A (2½ x3½ ) color vertical UPPER DECK baseball card, hand signed by Steve Holm in blue ink, is placed on the right side of the plaque in a orange colored mat. A gold colored name plate is positioned next to the card with the engraving in black letters "Steve Holm Giants Authentic Signature". A copy of the back of the card is enclosed in an envelope and attached to the back of the plaque. The plaque weighs 2 pounds and includes a horizontal plaque holder.
