Shawn Riggans Authentic Signature - Baseball Card 211495.

The Collectible Store is proud to present Shawn Riggans.  Shawn Riggans was drafted by the Tampa Bay Devil Rays in the 24th round of the 2000 Major League Baseball Draft.  He played nine games for the Devil Rays in 2006, including eight appearances as catcher and one as a pinch hitter.  In 2008, Riggans became the backup catcher for the Rays, behind Dioner Navarro. Riggans was not offered a contract to return in 2010. He was later signed to a minor league contract with the New York Mets but was released after four games. Following his release, Riggans played for the New Jersey Jackals of the independent Can-Am League. In December 2010, he signed a minor league contract with the Milwaukee Brewers that included an invitation to spring training in 2011.  The piece is a 9 x 12 vertical black marble finish wooden plaque.  A 2½ x 3½ vertical sport card of Wilson Betemit, is on a light blue mat with authentic signature in black ink.  Clear acrylic was used on this fine piece to protect the trading card.  A name plate with inscription in black ink “Shawn Riggans - Devil Rays - Authentic Signature”.  The Certified Autograph from Topps is enclosed in an envelope and attached on the back of the frame.  It includes a vertical frame holder attached to the back.  The piece weighs 2½ pounds.
