Sanford "Sandy" Koufax is a retired American baseball player. As a left-handed pitcher, he played his entire Major League Baseball (MLB) career for the Brooklyn/Los Angeles Dodgers, from 1955 to 1966. He retired at the peak of his career, and in 1972 became the youngest player ever elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame, aged 36 years and 20 days. The piece is a matted 8 x10 , placed on a 10x12 vertical cherry colored styrene frame with gold trim. Clear glass was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and photo. A 4x6 color  picture of Sandy Koufax hand signed in blue ink is centered in a black mat with white borders around the photo. A name card is positioned below the picture with the inscription in black ink “Sandy Koufax Hall of Fame-1972”. The Certificate of Authentication (COA) from Professional Forensics Examiner Christopher L. Morales and hologram are enclosed in an envelope and attached to the back of the frame.
