Sanford "Sandy" Koufax is a retired American baseball player. As a left-handed pitcher, he played his entire Major League Baseball (MLB) career for the Brooklyn/Los Angeles Dodgers, from 1955 to 1966. He retired at the peak of his career, and in 1972 became the youngest player ever elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame, aged 36 years and 20 days.The piece is 11 x 14 placed in a 131/2  x 16 1/2 vertical cherry wooden frame with 1 inch in depth with  glass. Clear glass was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and photo. The principal photo is  4x6 color action photo of Sandy Koufax , hand signed in blue ink placed in a black mat with white borders. The piece also includes 3 color photos (2 1/2 x 31/2) of  Sandy Koufax placed on the bottom part of the black mat. A name card is positioned below the signed picture with the inscription in black ink  "  Sandy Koufax  Hall of Fame-1972”. The Certificate of Authentication (COA) from Professional Forensics Examiner Christopher L.  Morales hologram # CM 04951  is enclosed in an envelope and attached to the back of the frame.
