Sanford "Sandy" Koufax is a retired American baseball player. As a left-handed pitcher, he played his entire Major League Baseball (MLB) career for the Brooklyn/Los Angeles Dodgers, from 1955 to 1966. He retired at the peak of his career, and in 1972 became the youngest player ever elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame, aged 36 years and 20 days. The piece is an 8 x 10 , placed on a 10x12 vertical solid cherry styrene frame with 1 inch in depth with glass. Clear glass was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and photo. A 4x6 color photo of Sandy Koufax posing with his glove on the field hand signed in blue ink is centered in a black mat. A name card is positioned below the picture with the inscription in black ink “Sandy Koufax Hall of Fame-1972”.
