Sandy Koufax, the hometown Brooklyn Dodgers, the hard-throwing left-hander was the most dominant pitcher in baseball until elbow arthritis forced an early retirement at age 30. Koufax became the youngest player inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1972, and has since served as a pitching instructor for his former team. The piece is a matted 8 x 10, placed in a 10 x 12 vertical bronze styrene frame. A clear glass was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and photo. A 4 x 6 vertical black and white action photo of Sandy Koufax, hand signed in blue ink is placed in a black mat with white borders on the frame . A name card , is positioned below the signed picture with the inscription in black ink “Sandy Koufax HALL OF FAME 1972”. The certificate of Authenticity (COA) from Professional Forensics Examiner Christopher L. Morales hologram # CM 04285 is enclosed in an envelope and attached to the back of the frame. It includes a vertical frame holder and an easel stand on the back. The frame weighs 1½ pound.
