Collectible Store is proud to present, Rodney Cline "Rod" Carew (born October 1, 1945) is a former Major League Baseball (MLB) first baseman, second baseman and coach of Panamanian descent. He played from 1967 to 1985 for the Minnesota Twins and the California Angels and was elected to the All-Star game every season except his last.  He was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame and the Caribbean Baseball Hall of Fame. Carew served as an MLB coach for several years after retiring as a player. The piece is a 11x14  placed in a 13x16 vertical solid black wooden frame with 1 inch in depth with glass. Tru Vue  Conservation Grade 99% UV Protection was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and photo. A 8x10 autographed color photo of Rod Carew is centered in a navy blue mat with red borders on the frame and signed in blue ink.  A golden name plate is centered on the bottom part of the mat with the engraving in black letters “ROD CAREW”- First Baseman, Second Baseman & Coach - Inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame 1991.  The Certificate of Authentication (COA) from PAAS #MF13958 is enclosed in an envelope and attached to a white mat on the back of the frame. The frame includes a vertical frame holder attached to the back. The piece weighs 3 pounds.
