Collectible Store is proud to present, Randy David Wells, is a former Major League Baseball pitcher. Wells was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the 38th Round of the 2002 amateur entry draft as a catcher. He spent his career in the Chicago Cubs farm system from 2003 to 2007 before being claimed in the Rule 5 Draft by the Toronto Blue Jays before the 2008 season. Randy got his first Major League win on June 21, 2009 in a 6-2 win over a struggling and injury plagued Cleveland Indians. On July 29, Randy became the first Cub rookie pitcher to win 7 games. The piece is a 7x9 vertical cherry finish wooden plaque with 1 inch in depth with acrylic. Clear acrylic was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and card. A 2.5x3.5 sports card is hand signed in blue ink by Randy Wells and is centered in a royal blue mat. A golden name plate is centered on the bottom part of the mat with the engraving in black letters “Randy Wells Blue Jays Authentic Signature". The Certificate of Authentication (COA) from TOPPS. A copy of the back of the card isenclosed in an envelope and attached to the back of the plaque. The plaque includes a vertical plaque holder. The piece weighs 1 pounds.
