He has played for the Los Angeles Clippers, Phoenix Suns, New York Knicks, Miami Heat, and Orlando Magic of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He won the NBA Three-Point Shootout during the 2005 NBA All-Star Weekend. Richardson was drafted by the Los Angeles Clippers with the 18th pick of the 2000 NBA Draft. The 2004–05 season was a big one for not only Richardson, but the Suns as well. He set a new Suns single-season record for three-point field goals, eclipsing the previous record of 199 set by Dan Majerle. He finished the season with a league-leading 631 three-point attempts, and 226 three-point field goals. The piece is a 9x12 vertical black marble finish wooden plaque with 1 inch in depth with acrylic. Clear acrylic was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and photo. A 3x5 color sports card is hand signed in blue ink by Quentin Richardson  and is centered in a red mat. A golden name plate is centered on the top part of the mat with the engraving in silver letters  “Quentin Richardson NBA Authentic Signature”.  The Certificate of Authentication (COA) from Professional Forensics Examiner Christopher L. Morales and hologram are enclosed in an envelope and attached to the back of the plaque. The plaque includes a vertical plaque holder. The piece weighs 2 pounds.
