He was signed as a non-drafted free agent out of Venezuela on August 12, 2001.Navarro was a September call-up for the Mariners in 2006. In his first at-bat, he recorded a hit on a bunt. He was granted free agency in 2009 and signed a minor league contract with Houston Astros on December 8, 2009.The piece is a 9x12 vertical black marble finish wooden plaque with 1 inch in depth with acrylic. Clear Acrylic was used on this piece to protect the autograph and baseball card. A (2½ x3½ ) color vertical Bowman baseball card, hand signed by Oswaldo Navarro in blue ink, is centered on the plaque in a white colored mat. A gold colored name plate is positioned below the card with the engraving in black letters "Oswaldo Navarro Mariners Authentic Signature". A copy of the back of the card is enclosed in an envelope and attached to the back of the plaque. The plaque weighs 2 pounds and includes a vertical plaque holder.
