Collectible Store is proud to present, Nolan Ryan. Lynn Nolan Ryan, Jr. nicknamed "The Ryan Express", is a former Major League Baseball pitcher and chief executive officer (CEO) of the Texas Rangers. He is currently an executive adviser to the owner of the Houston Astros. During a major league record 27-year baseball career, he pitched in 1966 and from 1968 to 1993 for four different teams: the New York Mets, California Angels, Houston Astros, and Texas Rangers. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1999. Ryan, a hard-throwing, right-handed pitcher, threw pitches that were regularly recorded above 100 miles per hour (161 km/h). The high velocity remained throughout his career, even into his 40s. Ryan was also known to throw a devastating 12–6 curveball at exceptional velocity for a breaking ball. The piece is a 12x15 horizontal black marble wooden finish plaque. Clear acrylic glass was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and photo. An 8x10 color photo of Nolan Ryan is hand signed in blue ink and is centered to the left side of the plaque. A 4x6 color action photo is placed on the top righthand side of the plaque. A golden name plate is positioned on the bottom righthand corner with the inscription in black letters "Nolan Ryan - Baseball All Time Strikeout "King"." The Certificate of Authentication (COA) from Professional Forensics Examiner Christopher L. Morales and hologram are enclosed in an envelope and attached on the back of the plaque # CM17106. The plaque includes a holder to the back and weighs 4 pound.
