Collectible Store is proud to present, Ned Jarrett , is a retired race car driver and two-time NASCAR champion. Jarrett was best known for his calm demeanor, and he became known as "Gentleman Ned Jarrett", yet he was an intense competitor when he put his two hands on the steering wheel of a NASCAR Grand National stock car. In the early 1960s, Ned began a radio program on WNNC in Newton, North Carolina. Jarrett also has been a television broadcaster on CBS, and ESPN, as well as a host for the original Inside NASCAR on TNN and NASCAR Tech on FSN. He was inducted into the NASCAR Hall of Fame during the 2011 induction ceremony on May 23, 2011. The piece is a 9x12 horizontal black marble finish wooden plaque with 1 inch in depth with acrylic. Clear acrylic was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and card. A 2.5x3.5 sports card is hand signed in black ink by Ned Jarrett and is centered in a black mat. A golden name plate is centered next to the card with the engraving in black letters Ned Jarrett 2-Time NASCAR Champion Authentic Signature. The Certificate of Authentication (COA) from Professional Forensics Examiner Christopher L. Morales and hologram is enclosed in an envelope and attached to the back of the plaque.
