A controversial and even polarizing figure during his early career, Ali is today widely regarded not only for the skills he displayed in the ring but for the values he exemplified outside of it: religious freedom, racial justice and the triumph of principle over expedience. He is one of the most recognized sports figures of the past 100 years, crowned “Sportsman of the Century” by Sports Illustrated and “Sports Personality of the Century” by the BBC.      The piece is a  matted 11 x 14, placed on a  13 x 16½   vertical cherry finish styrene frame.   Clear glass was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and photos.  A 5 x 7  vertical color action photo of  Muhammad Ali hand signed in black ink, is placed on a black mat  with white border on the frame.  The piece also includes three 2½ x 3½  action photos of Muhammad Ali. A name card is positioned below the signed photo with the inscription in black ink  “Muhammad Ali  3 - Time Heavyweight Champion ".  The certificate of  Authenticity (COA) from Professional Forensics Examiner Christopher L.
