The Collectible Store is proud to present, Mickey Mantle was an American baseball player nicknamed "The Commerce Comet" or "The Mick". He was a Major League Baseball (MLB) centerfielder and first baseman for the New York Yankees for 18 seasons, from 1951 through 1968. Mantle is regarded by many to be the greatest switch hitter of all time, and one of the greatest players in baseball history. The piece is a (12X15) horizontal black marble finish wooden plaque with 1 inch in depth with acrylic. Clear acrylic was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and photo. An (8x10) color photo of Mickey Mantle, hand signed in blue ink is centered on the left side of the plaque. The piece also includes a mini gold battery operated clock placed on the top right of the plaque. A black name plate with golden borders is positioned below the clock with the engraving in gold letters “Mickey Mantle' 536 Career Homeruns 3-Time American League MVP". The Certificate of Authentication (COA) from Professional Forensics Examiner Christopher L. Morales and hologram are attached to the back of the plaque.
