He was a Major League Baseball (MLB) centerfielder and first baseman for the New York Yankees for 18 seasons, from 1951 through 1968. Mantle is regarded by many to be the greatest switch hitter of all time, and one of the greatest players in baseball history. The piece is a 9 x12 vertical black marble finish, wooden plaque with acrylic. Acrylic was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and photo. A 4½ x 6½ vertical action photo of Mickey Mantle, hand signed in blue ink is placed in a black mat. A name card is positioned below the picture with the inscription in black ink "Mickey Mantle "HALL OF FAME - 1974".The Certificate of Authentication (COA) from Professional Forensics Examiner Christopher L.
