The Collectible Store is proud to present, Mickey Mantle. Mickey Charles Mantle - nicknamed "The Commerce Comet" or "The Mick", was an American professional baseball player. He was a Major League Baseball (MLB) centerfielder and first baseman for the New York Yankees for 18 seasons, from 1951 through 1968. Mantle is regarded by many to be the greatest switch hitter of all time, and one of the greatest players in baseball history. Mantle was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1974 and was elected to the Major League Baseball All-Century Team in 1999.  The piece is a matted 11 x 14 , placed on a 13 x 16  vertical black styrene frame. Clear glass was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and photo. A 5 x 7 vertical color photo of Mickey Mantle, hand signed in blue ink, is centered on a black mat with white borders around the picture. Also three 2½ x 3 color photos of Mickey Mantle are on the bottom with a sticker of Major League Baseball. A name card is positioned below the autographed photo with the inscription in black ink “Mickey Mantle  Hall of Fame 1974". The Certificate of Authentication (COA) from Professional Forensics Examiner Christopher L. Morales and hologram # CM 06635 are enclosed in an envelope and attached on the back of the frame. The frame includes a vertical holder on the back and weighs 2 pounds.
