He was a Major League Baseball (MLB) centerfielder and first baseman for the New York Yankees for 18 seasons, from 1951 through 1968. Mantle is regarded by many to be the greatest switch hitter of all time, and one of the greatest players in baseball history. Mantle was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1974 and was elected to the Major League Baseball All-Century Team in 1999.   The piece is a 8x10 mat placed in a  10x12 horizontal solid black wooden frame with 1 inch in depth with UV Protective  glass, This piece is protected whit Tru Vue Conservation Grade 99 % UV Protection. Clear glass was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and photo. A  2 ( 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 ) black and white  litthograph and photo of Mickey Mantle signed in blue ink is centered in a black mat.
