The Collectible Store is proud to present Mickey Mantle’s black and white photograph hand signed by the Yankee’s iconic sportsmen legend himself. Mickey Mantle was an American baseball player nicknamed "The Commerce Comet" or "The Mick". He was a Major League Baseball (MLB) centerfielder and first baseman for the New York Yankees for 18 seasons, from 1951 through 1968. Mantle is regarded by many to be the greatest switch hitter of all time and one of the greatest players in baseball history. The piece is a 12 x 9 horizontal black marble wooden plaque. Clear acrylic was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and photo. A 4 x 6 vertical black and white action photo of Mickey Mantle holding his bat on the field, hand signed in blue ink, is on right side of a black mat. Additionally a 4 x 6 photo of Mickey Mantel is on left side. A name card is positioned below those pictures, with the inscription in black ink "Mickey Mantle Hall of Fame 1974". The Certificate of Authentication (COA) from Professional Forensics Examiner Christopher L. Morales and hologram are enclosed in an envelope and attached on the back of the plaque # A206206. The plaque includes a horizontal holder on the back and weighs 2 pounds.
