The Collectible Store is proud to present, Mickey Mantle.  Mickey Charles Mantle - nicknamed "The Commerce Comet" or "The Mick", was an American professional baseball player. He was a Major League Baseball (MLB) centerfielder and first baseman for the New York Yankees for 18 seasons, from 1951 through 1968. Mantle is regarded by many to be the greatest switch hitter of all time, and one of the greatest players in baseball history. Mantle was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1974 and was elected to the Major League Baseball All-Century Team in 1999.  The piece is a 9 x 12 horizontal cherry finish wooden plaque.  Clear acrylic was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and the photo.  A 7 x 5 horizontal black and white action photo of Mickey Mantle, hand signed  in blue ink, is placed on a black mat with white borders around the photo.  A  name card  is positioned below the signed picture with the inscription in black ink  “ Mickey Mantle  - Hall of Fame  1974”.   The certificate of  Authenticity (COA) from Professional Forensics Examiner Christopher L. Morales hologram # CM 09439 is enclosed in an envelope and attached on the back of the plaque.  It includes a vertical plaque holder on the back.  The piece weighs 2 pounds.
