The Collectible Store is proud to present Mickey Mantle who was an American baseball player nicknamed "The Commerce Comet" or "The Mick". He was a Major League Baseball (MLB) centerfielder and first baseman for the New York Yankees for 18 seasons, from 1951 through 1968. Mantle is regarded by many to be the greatest switch hitter of all time, and one of the greatest players in baseball history. The piece is a 9 x12 horizontal  cherry, wooden plaque with acrylic. Acrylic was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and photo. A 3½  x 5½ vertical color photo of Mickey Mantle holding his bat is placed in a black mat with white borders. A name card hand signed in blue ink is positioned beside the picture with the inscription in black ink "Mickey Mantle " THE COMMERCE COMET" . The Certificate of Authentication (COA) from Professional Forensics Examiner Christopher L. Morales and hologram # CM 17738 is enclosed in an envelope and attached to the back . It includes a horizontal plaque holder. The piece weights  2 pounds.
