The Collectible Store is proud to present,  Willie Mays & Mickey Mantle.     Willie Howard Mays, Jr., nicknamed "The Say Hey Kid" is a retired American professional baseball player who spent the majority of his Major League Baseball (MLB) career as a center fielder with the New York and San Francisco Giants before finishing with the New York Mets. He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1979, his first year of eligibility. Mays won two MVP awards and shares the All-Star record of most All-Star Games played (24) with Hank Aaron & Stan Musial.  Mickey Charles Mantle- nicknamed "The Commerce Comet" or "The Mick", was an American professional baseball player. He was a Major League Baseball (MLB) centerfielder and first baseman for the New York Yankees for 18 seasons, from 1951 through 1968. Mantle is regarded by many to be the greatest switch hitter of all time, and one of the greatest players in baseball history. Mantle was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1974 and was elected to the Major League Baseball All-Century Team in 1999.     The piece is  a 14 X 18 ,  placed on a  17½ x  21½   horizontal cherry finish styrene decorative  frame  one inch in depth with glass . Clear glass was used on this fine piece to protect the autographs and photos.  A  8 x 10  vertical  black and white photo of  Willie Mays & Mickey Mantle, hand signed, Mickey Mantle  in blue ink, Willie Mays black in black ink, are placed on a black mat with golden border on the frame. The piece also includes  four  3 x  4½  vertical black and white photos  of  Willie Mays & Mickey Mantle.  A  name card  is positioned below the signed picture with the inscription in black ink  “Willie Mays & Mickey Mantle"  Hall of Fame - 1979  &  1974 ”.  The certificate of  Authenticity (COA) from Professional Forensics Examiner Christopher L. Morales hologram # CM 10080 is enclosed in an envelope and attached to the back of the frame . It includes a horizontal frame holder attached to the back.  The frame weighs  3 pounds.
