Collectible Store is proud to present, Merkin R. Valdéz Mola, is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher. Valdez graduated from Escuela Rural Palenque High School in his native Dominican Republic. He was traded by the Braves with Damian Moss to the San Francisco Giants for Russ Ortiz on December 17, 2002. He was named San Francisco's Minor League Player of the Year and selected as a Low A All-Star in 2003 when he went 9-5 with a 2.25 ERA for the Hagerstown Suns in the South Atlantic League. In 2004, Valdez pitched for Single-A San Jose Giants. The piece is a 7x9  vertical cherry finish wooden plaque with 1 inch in depth with acrylic. Clear acrylic was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and card. A 2.5x3.5 sports card is hand signed in blue ink by Merkin Valdez and is centered in a royal blue mat.  A golden name plate is centered on the bottom part of the mat with the engraving in black letters  “Merkin Valdez Giants Authentic Signature”.  The Certificate of Authentication (COA) from TOPPS.  A copy of the back of card is enclosed in an envelope and attached to the back of the plaque. The plaque includes a vertical plaque holder. The piece weighs 1 pounds.
