Born in Chatham, New York, she was working as a telephone switchboard operator in White Plains, New York when her good looks brought about the opportunity to pursue a career in modeling. Signed by the prestigious John Robert Powers Agency in New York City, the publicity she earned modeling brought an offer from 20th Century Fox film studios in Hollywood. The piece is 16x20 is placed in a 19x23 horizontal cherry wooden frame with 1 inch in depth with glass. Tru Vue Conservation Grade 99% UV protection glass was used on this piece to protect the autograph and photos. An 8x11 screen play poster of the play "Counter-Attack", hand signed in blue ink by Marguerite Chapman is placed on the left side of the frame in a black mat with red borders around the poster. The piece also includes an 8x10 color photograph of Marguerite Chapman that is placed on the right side of the frame. A gold colored name plate is centered on the bottom of the mat with the engraving in black letters "Marguerite Chapman, Counter-Attack". The Certificate of Authentication (COA) from P.A.A.S with hologram # MF 15203 is enclosed in an envelope and attached to the back of the frame. The piece includes a horizontal frame holder attached to the back.
