Magglio José Ordóñez Delgado is a retired Venezuelan Major League Baseball right fielder. He played for the Chicago White Sox (1997–2004) and Detroit Tigers (2005–2011). Ordóñez is 5 feet 11 inches (1.80 m) tall and weighs 215 lb (98 kg). Ordóñez retired from major league baseball as a Tiger on June 3, 2012 in a ceremony at Comerica Park prior to the afternoon game. In 2013, he announced that he will be running for public office in his native country of Venezuela and was elected mayor of the Juan Antonio Sotillo Municipality on December 8, 2013. The piece is a matted 9 x 12 vertical cherry finish wooden plaque. A clear acrylic was used on this fine piece to protect the trading cards. A 2½ x 3½ trading card from Magglio Ordonez with a piece of a game used jersey is placed on a blue mat on the plaque. The mat has the inscription in silver ink " Magglio Ordonez Detroit Used Game Jersey #30 ”. The copy of the back of the trading cards, certified by Upper Deck is enclosed in an envelope and attached to the back of the plaque. It includes a vertical plaque holder attached on the back.
