A free agent, Nix has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Texas Rangers, Milwaukee Brewers, Cincinnati Reds, Washington Nationals, and Philadelphia Phillies. Nix can play all three outfield positions, as well as first base, but is officially listed as a leftfielder by ESPN. His younger brother, Jayson Nix, also plays in MLB.  The piece is a 9 x 12 vertical  cherry finish wooden plaque with 1 inch in depth with acrylic. Clear acrylic was used on this fine piece to protect the signature and card .A 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 color sport  card and signature of Laynce Nix , hand signed in blue ink, is centered in royal blue  mat . A golden name plate is centered on the bottom part of the mat with the engraving in black  letters " Laynce Nix Rangers Authentic Signature " . The plaque includes a vertical plaque holder. The piece weighs 2 pounds.
