Holmes, whose left jab is rated among the best in boxing history, was the WBC Heavyweight Champion from 1978 to 1983, The Ring Heavyweight Champion from 1980 to 1985, and the IBF Heavyweight Champion from 1983 to 1985. He made twenty successful title defenses. The piece is a 11x14 placed in a 13x16 horizontal solid black wooden frame with 1 inch in depth with Tru Vue Conservation Grade 99% UV Protection. Clear glass was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and photo. A 8x10 color photo of Larry Holmes is centered in a black mat with red borders around the photo, hand signed in blue ink. A golden name plate is centered on the bottom part of the mat with the engraving in black letters “Larry Holmes World Heavyweight Champion- 1978 & 1985 Boxing Hall of Fame -2008”. The Certificate of Authentication (COA) is from JG Autographs #1034841 and is enclosed in an envelope and attached to a white mat on the back of the frame.
