She was a member of the Magnificent Seven, the victorious all-around women's gymnastics team that represented the United States at the Atlanta Olympics in 1996, and is best remembered for performing the vault despite having injured her ankle and for subsequently being carried to the podium by her coach, Béla Károlyi. The piece is a 11 x 14 placed in a 13 x 16 vertical solid black wooden frame with 1 inch in depth with glass. This piece is protected with Tru Vue Conservation Grade 99 % UV Protection was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and photo. A 7 1/2 x 9 /12 color photo of Kerri Strug, hand signed in silver ink, is centered in a white mat with navy blue borders around the photo. A golden name plate is centered on the bottom part of the mat with the engraving in black letters “Kerri Stug 1996 Gold Medal Winner , U.S. Olympics Gymnastics Team”. The Certificate of Authentication (COA) from JG AUtographs # 1130037-1 is enclosed in an envelope and attached to a white mat on the back of the frame.
