Collectible Store is proud to present, Robert Glenn Johnson, Jr., better known as Junior Johnson, is one of the early superstars of NASCAR in the 1950s and 1960s. He won 50 NASCAR races in his career before retiring in 1966. In the 1970s and 1980s, he became a NASCAR racing team owner; he sponsored such NASCAR champions as Cale Yarborough and Darrell Waltrip.He is credited as the first to use the drafting technique in stock car racing. The piece is 8x10 placed in a 10x12 vertical cherry wooden frame with 1 inch in depth with glass.Tru Vue Conservation Grade 99% UV protection glass was used on this piece to protect the autograph and photos. A white cut card, hand signed in black ink is centered on the bottom section of the frame in a black mat with grey borders. The piece also includes 2 photos of Junior Johnson placed above the cut card and a gold colored name plate with the engraving in black letters "Junior Johnson American NASCAR Driver Won 50 Races & One of NASCARS's Top 50 Drivers". The Certificate of Authentication (COA) from PAAS hologram # MF 14038 is enclosed in an envelope and attached to the back of the frame.
