Collectible Store is proud to present, Joyce Redman (December 1918 – May 2012) was an Anglo-Irish actress. Joyce Redman was born in Northumberland and grew up in County Mayo, Ireland. She was born into an Anglo-Irish family and educated by a private governess in Ireland, along with her three sisters. She trained in acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. Her acting roles were primarily in the theatre. She made a big success in New York in 1949 playing Anne Boleyn opposite Rex Harrison as Henry VIII in Maxwell Anderson's play Anne of the Thousand Days . The piece is a 14x14 placed in a 16x16 vertical solid black wooden frame with 1 inch in depth with glass. Tru Vue Conservation Grade 99% UV Protection glass was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and photo. A 8x8 color photo is hand signed in blue ink by Joyce Redman and is centered in a beige mat with brown borders on the frame. A golden name plate is centered on the bottom part of the mat with the engraving in black letters “Joyce Redman Anglo-Irish Actress Her most successful appearances on the stage were during the 1940s, in Shadow and Substance, Claudia & Lady Precious Stream”. The Certificate of Authentication (COA) from JG Autographs enclosed in an envelope and attached to the back of the frame. The frame includes a vertical frame holder attached to the back.
