Collectible Store is proud to present John Newcombe. John David Newcombe, is an Australian former world No. 1 tennis player who won seven Grand Slam singles titles, and an all-time record 17 doubles titles. He was one of many Australian players to dominate the field during the 1960s and 1970s, and is one of the few men to have been ranked world No. 1 in both singles and doubles. The piece is a 9x12 vertical cherry finish wooden plaque with 1 inch in depth with acrylic. Clear acrylic was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and card. A 2.5x3.5 black and white sports card is hand signed in black ink by John Newcombe and is centered in a teal mat.  A golden name plate is centered on the bottom part of the mat with the engraving in black letters  “John Newcombe Tennis Authentic Signature”.  The Certificate of Authentication (COA) from Ace Authentics, LLC. A copy of the back of card is enclosed in an envelope and attached to the back of the plaque. The plaque includes a vertical plaque holder. The piece weighs 2 pounds.
