The Collectible Store  is proud to present this Joe DiMaggio autographed plaque. Celebrate one of the all-time great Yankee players, Joe DiMaggio, with this brand new plaque autographed photo. Joe DiMaggio, nicknamed "Joltin' Joe" and "The Yankee Clipper", was an American Major League Baseball center fielder who played his entire 13-year career for the New York Yankees. He is perhaps best known for his 56-game hitting streak (May 15 – July 16, 1941), a record that still stands. DiMaggio was a three-time MVP winner and an All-Star in each of his 13 seasons. During his tenure with the Yankees, the club won ten American League pennants and nine World Series championships.  At the time of his retirement, he ranked fifth in career home runs (361) and sixth in career slugging percentage (.579). He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1955, and was voted the sport's greatest living player in a poll taken during the baseball centennial year of 1969. The piece is an 7 x 9 vertical black marble finish wooden plaque.  A 3½ x 5½ vertical black and white photo of Joe DiMaggio hand-signed in blue ink is centered on the plaque with black mat and a white border around the photo.  A name card is positioned below on the center of the plaque with the inscription in black ink “ Joe DiMaggio Hall of Fame-1955”.The Certificate of Authentication (COA) from Professional Forensics Examiner Christopher L. Morales and hologram Certificate  CM #06715 are enclosed in an envelope and attached to a black mat on the back of the plaque. The plaque includes a vertical plaque holder. The piece weighs 1 pound.
