On December 5, 2012, Blanton signed a two-year deal worth $15 million with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. The contract became official on December 12, 2012.The piece is a 9x12 vertical brown wooden plaque with 1 inch in depth with acrylic. Clear acrylic was used on this fine piece to protect the autograph and photo. A 3 x 3 ½ horizontal, authentic game jersey ,color card of Joe Blanton is placed on the top part of the plaque in a white mat with a gold outline around the card. On the center of the plaque the words "Game Used Jersey, Joe Blanton, Pitcher, Oakland Athletics" are inscribed in gold ink and the number "55" is in yellow. A copy of the back of the card is enclosed in an envelope and attached to the back of the plaque. The plaque includes a vertical plaque holder. The piece weighs 2 pounds.
