Jeremy Hermida Authentic Signature - Baseball Card 212703.

The Collectible Store is proud to present, Jeremy Ryan Hermida is a professional baseball outfielder for the Milwaukee Brewers. He bats left-handed and throws right-handed. Called up from the Double-A Carolina Mudcats, Hermida made his major league debut with the Florida Marlins Marlins on August 31, 2005. The Marlins promoted Hermida before September 1 so that he would be eligible to be on the Marlins' postseason roster, however the Marlins, who led the wild-card race on September 13, lost 12 of their next 14 games and were eliminated from postseason contention. In his debut, Hermida became the second of only four players in history to hit a grand slam in his first major league at-bat, after Bill Duggleby in 1898, and followed by Kevin Kouzmanoff in 2006 and Daniel Nava in 2010. Hermida is the only player to accomplish this feat as a pinch hitter, coming off St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Al Reyes.The piece is a 9x12 cherry finish wooden plaque with 1 inch in depth with acrylic. Clear Acrylic was used on this piece to protect the autograph and baseball card. A (2½ x3½ ) color horizontal UPPER DECK baseball card, hand signed by Jeremy Hermida in blue ink, is centered on the plaque in a white colored mat.  A gold colored name plate is positioned below the card with the engraving in black letters "Jeremy Hermida Marlins Authentic Signature".  A copy of the back of the card is enclosed in an envelope and attached to the back of the plaque. The plaque weighs 2 pounds and  includes a vertical plaque holder.
