The Collectible Store is proud to present, Jeremy Van Brown is an American former professional baseball catcher with the Oakland Athletics. He is primarily known for his place in Michael Lewis' 2003 #1 bestseller Moneyball. On February 15, 2008, Brown announced his retirement. Brown was the team's third-ranked catcher behind Kurt Suzuki and Rob Bowen and was unlikely to make the major league roster.The piece is a 9x12 vertical cherry finish wooden plaque with 1 inch in depth with acrylic. Clear Acrylic was used on this piece to protect the autograph and baseball card. A (2½ x3½ ) color horizontal SP Authentics baseball card, hand signed by Jeremy Brown in blue ink, is centered on the plaque in a white colored mat.  A gold colored name plate is positioned below the card with the engraving in black letters "Jeremy Brown Oakland Authentic Signature".  A copy of the back of the card is enclosed in an envelope and attached to the back of the plaque. The plaque weighs 2 pounds and  includes a vertical plaque holder.
